THE QUARTERLY contains a case of epilepsy in a child where Calcarea-carb helped the case throughout. Dr K S. Srinivasan in his editorial rightly urges the strong need for Homoeopaths to look into the field of epilepsy which has been neglected after Boenninghausens era. The section from the archives gives a detailed report of Streptococcin in homoeopathic potency by Dr R Hayes who give 20 cases helped by the remedy, most of which were related to the tonsils. Dr Dutta reports a case of Rheumatoid arthritis treated with Aur-met and a few cases of Fer-phos as and when fever comes by. Influenza is an infectious disease with a varying intensity depending mostly on host resistance. Dr R P Rammanan gives us a ready reference table, drawn from Dr Borlands monograph Influenzas differentiating Gelsemium, Baptisia, Bryonia, Eup-per, Rhus-tox, Pyrogen, Mercurius and Kali-bich.
