Heat Without Fever
So many times in our practice we come across this symptom that the patient complains of heat all over his body but the thermometer records normal temperature, indicating absolute normalcy in the internal thermal state. Now let me cite the reportorial analysis and indicated remedies for this symptom.
Phatak's Repertory
Heat, Fever Without: Cham, Grap, Ign, Lach.
Heat Partial, External: Ars, Bell, Merc, Phos, Phos-ac, Sul.
But in my experience I have used only Pulsatilla for this situation and it has never deprived me of the result.

Nowhere Acon is mentioned. But we know Acon works well after the exposure to strong dry heat or dry cold wind.
Just recently I got fever after coming from my office in the tremendous mid-day Sun heat of May and my entire body was burning hot with sense of malaise and slight headache. I took 3 doses of Acon 30 every 15 minutes and to my satisfaction I got rid of the feverish feeling and all other discomforts within 2 hrs.
Fever after Financial Loss A few yrs back I got a sudden shock of financial loss due to cheating of a chit fund company. Due to this incidence I got fever with utter weakness headache and humiliated feeling. (Ed: can we ask how much fever??)

Fluctuating or Oscillating Fever
In case of fluctuating fever I tried Puls successfully in many patients especially children. Pyrogenium is also an excellent remedy for such condition of fever. (Ph: Pg 158).
PUO
Once an obese executive, 55+, known case of diabetes, on Insulin for several yrs, consulted me for long continued fever without any modality. Allopaths treated him as Pyrexia of Unknown Origin(PUO) but to no avail. I gave Insulin 30 which cured his long-standing fever within 2-3 days.
An M D doctor from a reputed hospital of Jabalpur consulted me for repeated fever of many days which did not yield to his conventional treatment. He tried so many pathological tests etc which did not reveal anything particular. He was growing weaker by the day with loss of appetite and had been on antibiotic since long, gave him few doses of Arsenic 200 and to my pleasure, he had not been getting fever since he took Homoeopathy. But he was in doubt that the fever may return and so he wanted me to continue the medicine for more some days. I gave him SL for a week and asked me to report after finishing those doses. He came with a broad smile after the doses were finished and wanted to know the name of the medicine which I know, he will never use for his patients.
Hyperpyrexia In case of hyperpyrexia I have used Pyrogenium 200 in watery solution repeating half hourly and got wonderful result. During fever if the indicated medicine is given duly diluted in water and in repeated doses say 15 to 30 minutes interval, it works well.
