CASES MATERIA MEDICA GENERAL ARTICLES ABSTRACT MISCELLANEOUS Q & A

Letters to the Editor
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2004 Sep / Oct VOL VI NO 5.

Congratulations for bringing out two wonderful issues of ENT. Each article teaches/gives new ideas and differentiation of various aspects of ENT-Cases as well as diagnosis. The general section gives us a nice gist about the anatomical aspect of the topic, which helps us to refresh our memories.

Also the cartoons and jokes add flavour to it and keep the enthusiasm to finish the issue in one go.

I wish you all the very best for the forthcoming issues. May it always be successful, ever-growing and spreading Homoeopathy all throughout the world.

Dr Sheetal Chawathe, Mumbai

Dear Madam
It was very pleasant reading ENT-2 though there was a delay-take care- the timeliness has been achieved with great effort!

The most appreciable thing is about Dr C H Asrani's general article and Dr Ramesh Chauhan's article on Imaging. However if photos were put up it would have been more helpful. (Editor: We are sorry, that was an omission actually. There were some photos which we missed out)

Dr Manu Kothari's article is very difficult for me to understand, almost in all issues as he uses very heavy words. Sometimes I even loose the track while reading his article. (Ed: Yes, his is a very sophisticated sense of humour, which has to be cultivated. Do keep reading, and eventually you will like him much)

Dr Jawahar Shah's case makes us homoeopaths realize that investigations done before and after are very helpful. It also tells us about the great scope of homoeopathy in cases which are dumped by allopaths and rejected by surgeons.

Only after this issue I know that vertigo is not just dizziness or reeling or just a heavy headedness but is different from all of this. But may be Dr Fatima Chimthanwala has something else to say as according to her they are all same in children.

Other cases by new authors eg A case of Hirsutism is also a good experience shared.

All in all a very good and fruitful journey of both ENT-2 issues, which has kept no question or queries left and I think, I'll be able to handle an ENT case in very good and right approach.
Dr Bhavini Shah, Mumbai.

Dear Editor
I have been seeing for a while that the only section of your Journal which is becoming shorter day by day is Readers Page. I am sure even you must be wondering, Why? I think I have an answer. The NJH has achieved the benchmark of being the THE BEST, so when the new issue comes, it is, as it is expected- full of enriching knowledge: and when the expected happens, then gradually we all take it for granted. But now, being on the inside, I know how indispensable feedback is to spur us to greater heights. And so I will make sure that I will put my own learning down in every issue.

As every one Knows The Learning starts from the cover page itself. I enjoy reading your Editorial which mirrors what is in store for us in the issue.

I particularly like Dr Asrani's article where we get all are our questions answered, I have stop referring the related Books but infact started referring your issues for theory as well as Homoeopathic part, which proves how your theme based Journal is indeed helping us exactly the manner it is meant to be. Cases section almost always covers every aspect of the Topic selected thus helping us to master every obstacle. 'Dr Manu and Dr Lopa's tag of humour adds spice and "Other Cases Section" the variety. Not to Forget Dr Kasim's Question Answers Section informing how to tackle the day to day difficulties we go through. Even the fillers you put in are very thought provoking and we end up learning even from them!!!
Dr Sushma Jaiswal, Mumbai

(Ed: Thank you Sushma. What you say is true. Like in a marriage, when things get taken for granted and not expressed, then growth stops! We don't want this to happen to NJH, so we will try to keep this Readers page a lively, interactive one, even between the core team, which too has little time now to share, and can use this opportunity to express themselves.)

And the prize for the Best letter goes to Dr Sushma - please do select a book of your choice from the Book Club.
