Revolutionized Homoeopathy - Delhi Nov 2004
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2004 Nov / Dec VOL VI NO 6.
Dr P P Malhotra
Dr S R Agarwal

The monthly meeting of followers of revolutionized Homeopathy based on the techniques of Late Dr M L Sehgal was held on 7.11.2004

  1. Dr Madan Lal Sharma, a veteran Homoeopath gave the following valuable tips:
    1. According to Dr Chitkara, if the simillimum selected on the basis of mental symptoms is given in an appropriate potency to the patient, there would be no homeopathic aggravation. However if potency is higher than required, possibility of aggravation may not be ruled out
    2. A one-sided disease means that either the mind or the body is dominant.
    3. After taking medicine there may be discharge of vital fluid(s). If there is aggravation after discharge, China is the remedy, iif ameolioration Lachesis is the remedy.
    4. Aethusa is the remedy for the politician and the under-developed eg children
  2. Dr Narendra Gupta resuming his presentation on Aethusa explained important rubrics of the remedy
    1. Delusion, Great person is
    2. Delusion, Mouse running from under a chair
    3. Thoughts persisting garments made the previous day about.
    4. Long Tongue
    5. Anguish after vomiting
    6. Fear anticipation of examination

Simplifying understanding of Aethusa, if patient has the delusion of being a great person. As such he considers others like mouse (insignificant creature) running around him (chair-power). Thus has the fear/apprehension of loosing his status in the event of examination (Trial of his status as a great person). Long tongue means the patient has no control over his speech and he feels anguish after speaking (Vomiting)

Thoughts persisting garments made the previous day means the preparation/strategy made by him prior to examination (Trial of his status as great person)

Case: Dr Gupta cited the case of a child, aged 3 yr. Fear of strangers/ghosts (eg person wearing a 'Mukhota' Ravana in Ram Leela OR a bride (a girl in a bridal attire) she used to get scared and cling to her mother insisting for going home. After sitting in a car, though felt somewhat better but kept on insisting for going home. Affectation. She was initially prescribed Carbo-veg in different potencies, taking into account the following persistent, predominant present symptoms

  1. Affectation (Stramonium)
  2. Restless, clinging to mother

Dr Gupta explained at length the restless clinging of Carbo-veg by quoting the plight of an individual clinging to weak branch of tree for rescue in a bid to catch hold of a strong branch of a tree for his safety and security. He also explained the desire of Carbo- veg for fanning by comparing it to providing requisite support for sustenance (like need of Oxygen for survival of an individual). Carbo-veg relieved the patient temporarily. Hence the patient was given Aethusa which cured her.

Dr Prem Sharma explained the case of Mrs V, suffering from Osteoarthritis. Though in pain she was getting ready for office (Govt Office). She did not want to avail leave and insisted for fast relief to enable her to attend to office. She did not want to miss the office because by doing so she may be lagging behind her colleagues in disposal of work. Since Dr Sharma, was in a hurry, he prescribed promptly a dose of Arsenic-alb 30 which immediately relieved the patient to her astonishment and she went to the office.

Dr Pathak became President for the Study circle Delhi
