It is indeed my great privilege to review the second edition of the book 'REPERIRE', penned by our very experienced and learned author Dr Vidyadhar R Khanaj.
The title of this book "REPERIRE" is very peculiar, the meaning of which has been well explained by the author to bring forth and to reproduce, true to its name.
The book is unique in attempting a very comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the Repertory-right from the history and evolution of the repertory, starting with Dr Hahnemann himself down to the present day publications and computers.
Homoeopathy is difficult to practice without the aid of a repertory in analyzing our day-to-day and problematic cases of chronic diseases. There are so many repertories available in the market, the author has very precisely highlighted the advantages, disadvantages, limitations of different repertories - like General Repertories, Works on Kent's Repertory, General Clinical Repertories, Concordance Repertories, Card repertories, and Mechanically aided repertories like 'MAC, RADAR, HOMPATH CLASSIC, CARA AND THE MOST ADVANCED ISIS'. He has also touched upon some Regional and Clinical Repertories and discussed analysis of some illustrative cases.
This book is a comprehensive, systematic compilation of the best, and the wholesome readings in the subject of the Repertory, and a valuable reference book for neophytes, undergraduates and postgraduates for intelligent use of repertory.
