This book comes from the esteemed writers of Dr Prafull Vijaykar's School of Predictive Homoeopathy Part I - Theory of Suppression, Part II - Theory of Acutes, Part III - The End of Myasmtion of Miasms, Vabatum and many more.
I felt overwhelmed when asked to review this book of Dr Prafull Vijaykar. A unique book which comes from the classroom of Mahabaleshwar workshops which was specially written and distributed to the delegates
As soon as one sees the colorful front cover of the book, "Homoeopathy is Mathematics", The much stressed and repeated by Dr Prafull Vijaykar. He says that there is no scope for uncertainty in homoeopathy. Practically, like mathematics if all the signs and the figures are taken into consideration and the equation between the drug picture and the patient picture is well balanced then cure is imminent.
The contents of the book starts with description about ourselves by the faculty members, followed by Research of Scientific Homoeopathy - how Dr Praful Vijaykar started the process of bridging the gap between the two sciences, homoeopathy and modern science, by providing conclusive logical explanations and making meaningful co-relation between the two. He arouses the conscience of every reader, via embryology, explains and strengthens the long neglected Herings law of direction of cure.
The book further tells about, make up of the man, vaccine and vaccinosis applied Physiology, Endocrinology, Tools for Sharp Prescribing Immunology and Homoeopathy arriving at a similimum for non expensive patients repertory and lastly about genetic constitutional prescribing.
The back cover of the book portrays Dr Prafull Vijaykar's chart of Suppression, which is very useful to understand the Journey of disease and after giving the right similimum, aids in follow up of the patient, whether the remedy is in the right direction or not. This is so scientifically explained, that even an allopath would be convinced and accept the theory.
I would strongly recommend this book to every homoeopath, to read it again and again, and as a ready reckoner on his table.
