Homoeopathy In Diabetes
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2004 Jul / Aug VOL VI NO 4.
Dr Sadanand G Kulkarni
'Phos-ac / Siz-jam

Mr AD, 54 yrs, working in a company came to me for treatment of diabetes diagnosed 4 years back in routine checkup. Since then he was taking Semiglucon tablets once daily. Symptoms were classical of diabetes, that is polyphagia, polydipsia, and polyuria. The urine was turbid and some times profuse too. Quite often he suffers from numbness and tingling in the lower limbs and hands.

H/O: Constipation, asthma and vertigo

H/O: Surgery for hernia 4 yrs back.
Investigations: Fasting sugar: 170 and post lunch: 240
Urine: Sugar ++, with few epithelial and cast cells.

Mind: Basically of strong character, desire for company.
Modalities: Agg by excessive mental as well as physical work.

Treatment

11/12/03 Phos-acid 200 TDS and Syzigium-jambolinum Q, 15-20 drops BD.
Till date the patient is on same regime of Syzigium-jambolinum Q and intermittently Phos-acid and SL.

Now his sugar levels are absolutely normal and has stopped semiglucon tablets. Really homoeopathy works well with the right medicine.
