An Appeal To The Pseudo-Homoeopaths
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2004 Jan / Feb VOL VI NO 1.
Dr Satish Kanojia

This paragraph is essentially aimed at those homoeopaths who have taken their degree and diploma but are practicing allopathy.
The biggest question arises: ‘Why does a Homoeopath take to Allopathy practice?’
The answer is:
1. To make quick money
2. No confidence in the Homeopathic Remedies.
3. No self-confidence
4. No desire to refer the Repertorial forest to hunt the Rx especially in acute cases.
5. For their survival in this competitive world.

The fresh Homoeopathic graduates can set up their clinic and practice as a general Homoeopathic practitioner, with few teething problems. But those who have flourishing practice can do so even at this stage. All they have to do is devote one hour daily reading Materia Medica and repertory.

How can you trust a paracetamol1 to bring down fever or a metoclopramide to stop vomiting if you have not been taught about these medicines during your medical education? Why should you not hae trust in Aconite or Belladonna or Sulphur and Ipecac or Antim-crud or Pulsatilla or some other indicated remedy to bring down that fever or stop that vomiting?

Simply because you have either not tried to use your knowledge of acute totality or you have been too lazy to track down the heavy Kent’s Repertory!

Allopathy is your adopted mother, a "Muhaboli Maa" while Homoeopathy is your true biological mother, who has nourished you for all those five years in her womb. How can you be so selfish as to not take care of her when she needs you most?

There is a hint to give homoeopathic remedy along with with Allopathic drug. Suppose a patient presents with vomiting with Thirstlessness and clean tongue. You know it’s a case of Ipecac. Give it. But if you are afraid to lose your patient or you have fear that vomiting may not stop give a tablet or two of or Metoclopramide and ask the patient to take it SOS only if Ipecac doesn’t work. Next day the patient will come to return the two allopathic tablets because the vomiting stopped after the first dose of Ipecac!

This will be your moral booster and you will be eager enough to treat the next patient homoeopathically.

Come on! You can do it! Those few hours spent in true effort pay such rich dividends!

Hail Homoeopathy! Hail Hahnemann!!
