Medhorrhinum-the Multipolycrest Missile
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2004 Jan / Feb VOL VI NO 1.
Dr Mrs Fatema A Chimthanawala
Medorrhinum-the Gonorrhoeal virus, a misnomer (coz it is
a gram negative coccus/bacteria carrying a sycotic taint) is a multipolycrest
missile and has within its armamentarium a host of polycrest remedies.
To perceive, the drug holistically, we have attempted to extract out the
different facets or essence of other polycrest remedies, which together form a
complete Medorrhinum picture. We have scanned as many Materia medicas,
source books and authentic repertories on which we could lay our hands upon. It
was an enriching experience for us, to perceive this wonderful drug and we
believe that it shall be for you too. Apart from having its own individualistic
symptoms in its provings, we found many one-liners (keynotes) matching with
other drugs, but here we have included only those which have their essence in Medorrhinum.

An attempt has been made to compile the essence of as many
polycrests in Medorrhinum as we thought fit.
After this exercise, one may conclude that Medorrhinum
is not only a multipolycrest remedy but has compatible relationship with the
above mentioned polycrests and may follow them well when the above fail to act.
