SPASMODIC, NEURALGIC, ALLERGIC, AGED
Neuralgias of allergic, where vascular constriction is
responsible for affecting nutrition of the part. Cerebral embolism and
hemorrhage (Boericke). Will check hemorrhage and aid absorption of clots. Head
injury, unconsciousness (like Hell.). Stimulates muscular activity and
overcomes uterine inertia.
Vertigo, difficult mental concentration, confusion and fullness deep in frontal region.
Intestinal colic; (spasmodic) gripping pains. Incarcerated flatulence; in allergic subjects; or non-descript. Volvulus or intussusception with bradycardia. Strangulated hernia of old people, esp. with h/o allergy or asthma. Spasm of gall bladder; in non-functioning gall bladder. To regulate peristalsis.
Rectal spasm alternating with respiratory spasm (asthma). Colitis, after dysentery. Severe constipation in vagotonic subjects.
Renal colic. Nephritis. Albuminuria. Prostatitis. Diabetes (Sec.), insipidus.
Exercises a superior control over the growth and development of the sexual organs. Delayed puberty and undeveloped breasts. Scanty menses with obesity (Thyr) and hair greying. Dysmenorrhea, colic every night. Ovarian neturalgia. For sterility and early abortion (due to its regulating role on corups luteum). A parturient (like Thyr), uterine inertia in second stage of labor where os is fully dilated.
Angioneurotic edema.
Whooping cough, difficult respiration.
Angina pectoris, due to coronary vessel disorder; from chronic uremic conditions in old people or in allergic subjects (Cact from myocarditis, Naja from endocarditis, Spig from cardiac neuralgia), when getting up at night for urinating or while walking, at 11 pm (like Cact), with dyspnoea (due to pulmon edema, action comparable to a diuretic) in a patient of coronary thrombosis (followed by Merc and Thry). "Will not relieve precordial heaviness and pain arising out of gastrointestinal disorders such as acidity, wind formation." Heart rate slower during the beginning of all colics.
Hypertension due to arteriosclerosis; with coronary disease.
Acromegaly or acromicria resulting from pituitary dysfunction, Bone hypertrophy.
After a remittent fever, progressive emaciation and atrophy, no appetite, no menses (like Psor).
Relations: Vasopressins : Bell, Glon.
Oxytocics : Sec-c.
Related : Bar-c, Calc, Graph, Med, Merc, Syph, Thyr.
