Unique Homoeopathic Camp, Sangamner

To celebrate the 11th anniversary of Dr Prasad Rasal’s Sai Swami Computerised Homoeo clinic, on 2nd, 3rd and 4th April 2003, an unique Health and Homoeopathy Exhibition was arranged by Sai Swami Medical Foundation and Research Centre at Sangamner. Exhibition was inaugurated by minister Mr Balasaheb Thorat. In simple Marathi with diagrams and pictures, he explained regarding health, concept of health-disease, along with misconceptions about Homoeopathy. Prevention of diseases, first aid in different types of diseases were explained with the help of 100 big posters. It was a unique presentation by Dr Prasad Rasal and his team. Minister, Mr Balasaheb Thorat said that this is the right approach to educate people in mass regarding health and homoeopathy.
A souvenir was released with the hands of Mr Onkarnathji Malpani, a renowned industrialist. It contained literature from all three branches of medicine i.e. Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homoeopathy named "SANJEEVANEE" edited by Dr Prasad Rasal, Dr Ajit Kulkarni, a Senior Homoeopath from Satara, delivered a lecture on Homeopathy for laymen.
For 3 days, a different type of Homoeopathic camp was arranged by the foundation. Two hundred patients were seen by the team of seven Homoeopaths - Dr Ajit Kulkarni (Satara), Dr Prashant Gangwal (Shrirampur), Dr Pravin Bidkar (Aurangabad). Dr Dhananjay Ahire (Nashik), Dr Makrand Bothe (Jalna), Dr Dolly Joshi (Pune) and Dr Rahul Hajare (Ahmednagar). Every case was thoroughly considered giving nearly half an hour for every patient. Each Homoeopath took only 10 cases per day between 9 am to 6 pm. After camp, between 6 pm to 9 pm, a daily Group discussion on difficult cases was arranged. The schedule was followed strictly for all three days. Totally 187 patients were examined. A magic had happened after 10 days. Absolute follow up of all 186 patients was recorded at Dr Prasad Rasal’s clinic. This was the actual prize of the camp!
On 4th April: the last day, a sterility camp was arranged. 107 patients were examined by Dr Nitin Lad and Dr Mrs Neha Lad, eminent Gynaecologist and sterility specialists from Nashik, assisted by Dr Rajesh Bholane and Dr (Mrs) Sangeeta Rasal, Gynaecologists from Sangamner. A slide show on STERILITY AND RECENT ADVANCES IN TREATMENT was arranged for public by Dr Nitin Lad and Dr (Mrs) Neha Lad.
Students of Vamanrao Thape Homoeopathic Medical College and Dr Prasad Rasal’s friend circle had voluntarily participated in the whole programme.
