A Research Scholar Laid in Rest
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2002 May / Jun VOL 4 NO 3.
A Tribute by
Dr S P Koppikar & Dr P V Venkatraman
It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing away of a great, enthusiastic Homoeopath, Dr A N Ramanathan on July 01, 2002, at the ripe old age of 91 years. He was a brilliant doctor. He was a professor of Biochemistry in Medical Colleges, who took up Homoeopathy after retirement and seeing and experimenting its effects. He was greatly interested in converting some of his allopathic students and teachers.
It was a wonderful experience for us to meet and discuss our Materia Medica. He always reminded us of Dr J C Burnett. He tried new and rare medicines - triturating and potentising them, like house dust, Zinc preparations and quite a number of rare drugs.
In him we have lost a great and staunch research scholar of our system.
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
