The 13th International Congress of Asian Homoeopathic Medical League (AHML) was held at Kota Bharua, the beautiful city of Malaysia, organized by the Homoeopathic faculty of Malaysia. Inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Kelantan state, Honourable Nik Abdul Aziz, it had nearly 400 hundred delegates from India, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, UAE & Germany, Canada, Bangladesh, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Kuwait. Some well-known speakers were Dr A.K. Seth, Dr Alok Pareek, Dr D P Rastogi, Dr Naval Kishore, Dr Mohd. Qaisar, Dr V P Bansal and Dr Mirza Anwer Baig. Dr Seth welcomed the new member countries: Saudi Arabia & UAE. He congratulated Dr Gijendra Pal, the next interim president of the league, nominated by Dr Sajjad Hassan Khan of Pakistan, the acting President of league.

Dr Alok Pareek was the first speaker. He discussed the spectrum of homoeopathy in various conditions in respect to their management and linked them with the scientific datas as proof. He titled it ‘The Missing Link in Medicine today’.

Dr Mirza Anwer Baig of Mumbai presented his research work on HIV related cancers, where surgery is contraindicated. According to him, these cancers are not because of HIV or carcinogenic factor. That is to say that these are neither cancer, nor HIV, but due to low immunity. In such cases, various causative factors other than psychosomatic can be responsible. He elaborated by various examples where Homoeopathy acted as surgery and no knife was used.

Dr V P Bansal of Indore says Hepatitis-B vaccine is most toxic & disease producing vaccine. His research highlighted the homoeopathic use of the vaccine, wherein he has prepared a remedy of the same vaccine for combating its toxicity.

Dr David Orther from Canada has worked on Chinese medicines and found their use as homoeopathic acupuncture. He has developed a special device in form of a needle designed in USA for this purpose.

Dr M Weber of Germany came with new laser technique as a supporting tool to homoeopathy. That machine transmits energy to stimulate vital force.

Dr Munir Ahmed Khan from Pakistan presented his paper on Biochemical & medical studies. He spoke about Indian herbs with their mode of actions in various modern ailments of today.

Dr Abdul Matin of Bangladesh spoke on the pathological aspects of homoeopathy & discussed the depth of psora.

A scientist from UK, Mr Jacqueline Seow, showed a homoeopathic scientific device which allows a therapist a three dimensional energetic approach. This machine can be used as proof whether the homoeo remedy has acted rightly. It works in a waveform, which can indicate the soothing effect of a remedy on the vital force.

This machine has been designed by Dr (Ms) Lynne Crawford, a homoeopath & psychotherapist, but the idea came from Dr Maungh Voris & Dr Sheiley Good of Texas, US.

Dr Shabbir Alam from Bihar, India, came up with an interesting & mysterious device which claims to be a Blood Pressure controlling device. According to the device if one hold as particular homoeo herb (well knows for antidoting snake venom) in one hand & the device in the other, his BP will be under control.

Other speakers, covered few more interesting aspects of this session. Dr B S Chandhok from Chandigadh, India spoke about the sports field of medicine. He revealed how he treated some of the world famous cricketers through Homoeopathy. He is today the first Homoeopathic physician of the world of sports.

Dr D P Rastogi, ex-director of CCRIT discussed the new method of repertorization. He elaborated on the details of Dr Jhar, the disciple of Hahnemann. According to him, the base of every homoeopathic repertory is the work of Dr Jhar, which he has modified it so it can be useful to every student of Homoeopathy.
