Letters to Editor
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 2002 Mar / Apr VOL 4 NO 2.
Thank you for the letter. I am enclosing the proving and
verified symptoms of Eosinophillium. About the drug: It works in both
chronic and acute cases of cold, topical eosinophillia etc. In acute cases, it
can also be prescribed to a patient, when there is much sneezing nasal
discharge. Aching pain in the whole body, mostly in the cervical region >
pressure, acute drowsiness, congested eyes ie acute cold.
In chronic cases: pain in joints, chronic cold and when the
Eosinophil count is very high. Acts better with E>20.
I have verified all the above symptoms/conditions in my
personal clinic and in the Research unit at Dr A C Hom Medical college and
Hospital, Bhubaneshwar.
This invention was by the combined efforts of the Dept of
Materia Medica and Pharmacy. Those responsible:
1. Prof (Dr) Chaturbhuj Nayak Principal Investigator of
this Research
2. Dr Akhaya Kumar Mishra, Head of Dept of Pharmacy, as
co-investigaotr
3. Dr Sameendre Prasad Mishra, Ex-Research Ass.
4. Dr Ragendra Kuamr Dosh, Research Associate.
Provings of Eosinophillinum:
Eosinophillinum is a nosode prepared from the blood cells
of a person suffering from Tropical Eosinophilia with 78% of Eosinophils. We
know that a nosode is a drug prepared from the disease product of plant or
animal. In Homoeopathy there are several nosodes like Pertussin,
Diphtherinum, Lyssin, etc. which either act as preventive or curative agents
in diseases from whose products they are prepared. This inspired us to prepare
and prove other Nosodes and EOSINOPHILLINUM is one of them. A
preliminary proving of the drug was made in various potencies on 23 provers and
the symptoms were faithfully recorded. Most of the symptoms, to the curiousity
workers, were akin to the symptoms of Tropical Eosinophilia. The medicine was
clinically tried by nearly a dozen of reputed practitioners on different cases
basing on symptoms similarity and the results were very much encouraging. A
scheme on "Management of Eosinophilia by Eosinophillinum and
Tautopathic Drugs" was presented by the Department of Science &
Technology, Govt. of Orissa, for further detailed study on the Medicine and the
practical research work was started after sanction of this research project
since 1998.
Some characteristic features of the drug:
1. Mental: Mentally depressed, weak and irritable.
2. Sleep: Sleepy feeling, tired and even sleeps while
sitting, reading or standing. Always desires to sleep.
3. Eyes: Congested, burning sensation & headache.
4. Respiratory tract: Much sneezing, with watery discharge
from the nose or little mucoid expectoration; as if cold is settled at the
throat pit. Epistaxis, bright blood in large amount.
5. G I tract: tongue reddish, ulcerated at the sides,
flabby; salivation increased. Slight cutting pain in the umbilical region;
either diarrhoeic or constipated.
6. Extremities: Aching pain in the cervical region > by
pressure, severe body ache, soreness all over the body better by slight
pressure and slow, motion: feels chilly. Feeling of heaviness of the legs with
little swelling and itching.
7. Blood picture: Eosinophils high - 15 to 63%.
Congrats!!. You have done it again and the first issue on
Ferrum of 2002 though delivered late, is a chubby baby and healthy one at that;
though the mother had to undergo travails galore in delivering the same.
I wish you all the best for the coming issues.

It was nice to read your article in NJH. The information
given were very useful.I am a Homoeopath and practising for the last 25 years. I
have some patients of HIV infected. The nosode II you have mentioned in your
article (Virionum) is not available in Chennai. Can you send it?

In reference to your letter dated (Ref No.: 358) 16-08-2002, As a fact I have not called to undertake this case. But, I have been cured 5 cases of the same problem: one: hearing impaired, two voice suspended and two cases of the vision completely suspended (Photophobia), with Phosphorous 10M, which gave (single dose) perfect recovery of all the problems and they are all well since 7 years of time. The Phosphorous should be administered single dose which generally produces in 48 hours, convulsions of severe nature which continue from 2 to 48 hours in rare cases. First this medicine produces resulting in sensitiveness of any part of the body with severe burning for 24 hours, later two consecutive nights where in that process, thick grey sweat eliminates along with free flow of urine and stool for 2 to 3 days later the convulsions subsides itself, and the menses appear naturally for 4 to 5 days and continues forever according to the natural system. I have two paralysis completely recovered. We cannot see any evidence in any repertory, or materia medica of such symptoms after ‘lumbar puncture’. So its my doctrine only if you found true in my words, you could publish, or you could observe such cases in future and come to conclusion than only you could publish. No one is authoritative for this research work. It is not possible, as you have written often. Its 100% true to my knowledge as I have been observed more than 25 cases in which the same blunder (Lumber puncture while in 104 degree fever stage) and still they are suffering since that day. All are not ready to use our medicine because it produces, severe convulsions with Phosphorus.
I am having several researches in this field which cannot be
understood and accepted by the so called well qualified homoeopathic
practitioners, because they always want to do routine job, without much desire
to tackle problematic situations. The world is not ready to accept.
