Dr KPS Dhama (48) has been practicising homoeopathy for the last 17 years. He is an Honorary physician to the President of India. He is Editor and Publisher of 'Homeopathic Prestige' a monthly from Delhi. He has published a number of books.

In this book he has covered all the basic principles and philosophy of Homoeopathy. After explaining the basic concepts of Homoeopathy, a little idea of Homoeopathic Pharmacy he has gone on to talk about Proving Materia Medica. How to select a Homoeopathic Remedy; extensive talks on vital force, susceptibility, disease classification, Miasms, chronic diseases, case taking, details on 1st and 2nd prescription. He has also given detailed talks on suppression, prevention of disease, diet management etc.

His talks are interspersed with liberal quotes from the masters of Homoeopathy as well as from the ancient scriptures. He has also cited cases to make a point or to draw attention to some aspect of his observation. All in all a good book to get a basic yet exclusive idea about Homoeopathy all in one place, along with the Hindu philosophy. Printing and get up is pleasing. A book worth reading.
