Two volumes from the pen of Dr E Balakrishnan, for whom Homoeopathy is a passion. He has a long experience of successfully treating cases with Homoeopathy. Readers of NJH are familiar with the author as he is an honored and reliable member of its author bank.

The First Volume: one gets 'everything under one roof'. Since it is not always possible to read works of all stalwarts, then here is a remedy. On opening this book, you get to see opinions and cases of past masters to present stalwarts.

a. Basic aspect of history-taking since 17-18 years of age special emphasis on backward children, is discussed in the first volume. Each section is backed by interesting case reports.

b. Potency and Repetition chapter carries views of eminent Homoeopaths. This can serve as a platform for good mind-share and a broad based understanding of the subject.

Volume II: Materia medica of 116 drugs - given in 3 sections. The first section gives diagrammatic presentation of a drug and all the important aspects of the drug from head to toe can be seen at a glance. It is a novel and graphic way of giving a drug and very helpful for a quick reference. The section gives comparison of these drugs in different areas and 3rd section covers short cases with different approaches. One remedy is represented here for the benefit of our readers.

These two volumes are written with the aim to share a valuable experience and show the effectivity of Homoeopathy in practice. It is surely going to be a valuable contribution in the field of Homoeopathy.
