The session was concluded by Dr Subash Singh who said that whatever step be taken should be in the best interests of Homoeopathy and its progress.
NJH Editor: Certainly the audience seems wiser than the so-called leaders of Homoeopathy. Leaders have a responsible position and not only need to be factual in public pronouncements but also have a responsibility to advise how to take science to its true goal Panelists can certainly state their personal practice or choice, but then other panelists should oppose vociferously. If this statement is really true in actuality,(which I doubt) then I personally laud those 2% who will finally take Homoeopathy to its true glory and urge the other 98 % to follow suit!!
I would urge the fraternity to read again what Hahnemann has to say on the subject. For this reason I have included in this issue the article by Dr C S Sandhu- Irrational to Rational medicine- 12 pages of it. And if reading it will drive some sense into the heads of those who think otherwise, I will consider my effort worthwhile.
3rd Session: Cancer And Homoeopathy.
Dr Ashok K R Das, gave a detailed description of cancer, its predisposing factors, preventive measures, investigations and the homeopathic approach. Illustrating with cases- of Squamous cell Ca, Ca larynx, Ca ovary with pelvic metastasis and bronchogenic Ca.

He specifically cautioned that most of these drugs were palliative in nature- help only in immediate control of symptoms and has to followed by the appropriate constitutional remedy.
5th Scientific Session: The Hidden Treasure Of 50 Millesimal Potency.
Dr S P Dey discussed the benefits of the 50 Millesimal potency:
- Homoeopathic aggravation can be avoided/controlled.
- Action is powerful but short.
- Long-acting chronic diseases are cured in a short time.
- Medicines can be repeated several times safely without any aggravation.
- Interim relief in long-standing cases.
- If selection of medicine is wrong, it can be ascertained within 3-4 days unlike the decimal/centesimal scale where we have to wait for 2-3 months to know whether the drug is acting.
- The same constitutional medicine can be used for both palliative and curative effects.
- In incurable cases it is useful for palliation without any aggravation.
- In psychiatric cases, where even the least aggravation can be fatal eg in a case of schizophrenia Aur-met 30 was given, though selection was right, there was medicinal aggravation and patient committed suicide. But Aur-met -0/1, single dose, gives very good results and can be repeated when required.
Dr Rastogi spoke about the preparation of the 50 Millesimal scale and its benefits. Lastly Dr Mahadeb Dey also spoke about the advantages of 50 Millesimal scale potecies of medicines.
