For past, present and prospective heart patients, a balm, a panacea, a rescue remedy. Yet, beside direct or sympathetic heart symptoms, it has non-cardiac stock too.
Irritation: (1) Preinflammatory congestion (2) Neurosis (spasms or distress).
Congestion (or relaxation like Fer-ph.) of vascular circular muscle fibbers (middle coat) causing (1) constrictive pain (in neck, rectum, bladder, vagina, uterus, scalp, trunk, chest, Heart etc.) < touch,

Constriction of oesophagus; must drink large quantities to force food into stomach. Globus hystericus, with choking, and numbness of 1 arm; as if heart whriled round, can't tolerate a tight collar around neck (Lach).
