In July 1997, a 40-year-old former rally car owner came for insomnia, hypertension and a lingering fear of a frightful accident that had occurred 2 years ago. He liked fast cars but had given up rally driving at his father's request. He liked his food hot and his beer chilled. There was a family history of hypertension and Diabetes. Opium 1M 2 doses followed with Lyco 1M occasionally helped him transit smoothly to a new marketing venture. He had regular cardiac check-ups and was taking his BP medicine regularly. On 1 March '99 he came looking glum. His BP was 180/120 and he has had no sleep for many days. It was later revealed that he was disappointed at his close friends leaving him now, that his business was down. He was very anxious about his business and as his wife was in an advanced state of pregnancy, he did not want to share this anxiety with her. He was unable to stop the recurring thoughts of payments, collections and outstanding bills etc. The constant brooding did not allow him to sleep at all and his hands were trembling esp. in the morning He was asking God continuously "Why are you doing this to me? I perform Puja regularly, have given up alcohol and am regular with my exercise, food & medication. I have not harmed anybody. Why Me?" The Synthesis (Shroyens) & Robin Murphy repertories were referred to ascertain the simillimum.
