Miss V, a student of Psychology, aged 17 yrs, visited us for severe dysmenorrhoea, since menarche, which stared at the age of 13 yrs. Pain in uterus and back lasts for 4 days; menstrual flow scanty and dark red. Had recurrent Tonsillitis > warm drinks. Headache associated with dullness< sun and reading. Irritability during menses with restlessness, C3H, aversion Milk-3, Fats, Sour food. Cravings spicy food-2.
Life Situation: She is eldest in the family followed by 2 sisters. Fastidious about work, has to complete it at any cost in time.
Mind - Loves music, cries on hearing sad songs and Ghazals, love reading sad stories and enjoys seeing sad movies. Prefers to be alone in her room, an introvert, pessimistic and perfectionist. Fussy and choosy about every little thing, very time conscious, gets aroused and angry from contradiction. She fights with mother and sister, she feels mother is always scolding her for not doing things right and is partial to sister. Extremely nervous before exams, studies very hard the whole night and fells confused afterwards. She fells some how she will not do it rightly. H/O less Calcium in childhood as per the Pediatrician and had to be always carried by mother. Though the case clearly pointed towards Nat group and specifically towards Nat carb, we Repertorised the case to confirm.

17-8-94: Nat-carb 1MD
30-8-94: LMP was on 27-7-94 this month 27-8-94 Pain less by 50% and lasted for 2 days. Only Flow scanty. Placebo
30-9-94: Dysmenorrhoea slight, flow increased. Placebo.
4-10-94: Tonsillitis (on examination follicular type of Tonsillitis) Nat-carb 1M
10-10-94: Tonsillitis recurred within a week, Exams approaching placebo.
9-12-94 : Did well in the Exams. Placebo
The family is in touch with us now her period are much better and she is doing well in her career. Also there is not much complaint about the Tonsils problem.
