A Simple solution to boost susceptibility towards Homoeopathy
The VIth Winter School (residential training camp) for Receptive Homoeopaths was conducted by the National Academy of Homoeopathy, India at Dr J N Kanjilal Memorial Hall, Nagpur. The entire training was conducted under the able guidance of Dr Kasim Chimthanwala. The participants were guided in doctrines of Hahnemann Homoeopathy with practical applications, in the most simple way.

The participants were divided into groups e.g. Kent group, and cases were allotted to each group daily. Analysis and evaluation of the case, selection of similimum with management were explained by Dr Chimthanawala. Errors in case taking were corrected simultaneously.
Importance of Nosodes in constitutional treatment, the relation of Nosodes with tendencies and diathesis were explained with suitable examples. How to overcome the hurdle of Miasms with suitable Nosodes was discussed. Discussions started with how our Master came to the conclusion of the Doctrine of CHRONIC MIASMS. Various manifestations of individual MIASMS in blended and non-blended states with respect to primary, secondary and tertiary stages were explained. The discussion concluded with an explanation of how Miasms evolved and the need for an ANTI-MIASMATIC line of treatment.

The language of repertory was explained. Cross-references of rubrics were given with page numbers and the Construction of Kent's Repertory was explained. Specialists of each faculty guided the participants in allied clinical subjects.

Every morning, we were trained in Yoga and relaxation, and taught how to keep harmony between the CNS, ANS and the endocrine system, which leads to evolution of natural immunity. Assessment of cure in individual patients was explained. The Law of Cure was clarified with examples. Homoeopathic importance of skin and its vital role in elimination was explained. Dr. Tambe demonstrated live drug picture of Phosphorus. And the mind of Natrum-mur was elucidated by Dr Mehboob Chimthanawala. Dr Adil Chimthanawala assisted entire programme.

In those eight days, we were exposed to inimitable literature of old stalwarts. At the end, an examination was conducted and the following were adjudged to occupy the first, second and third positions:
Dr Prasad Rasal, Sangamner.
Dr Prasanna Suverna, Kolhapur;
Dr Jagruti Kapadia, Surat.
We were indeed an inspired lot which left the NAH.
