CASES MATERIA MEDICA GENERAL ARTICLES ABSTRACT MISCELLANEOUS Q & A

A one-day seminar with Dr Girish Gupta
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 1998 Jan / Feb VOL VII NO 1.

A one-day Seminar was organised by Homoepathic Research & Charities on 28th November 1997, at the Tata Hospital, Chokdey auditorium.

Dr. Girish Gupta is an old friend. I have heard him many times. His approach is take up a specific disease e.g. ovarian cyst & treat 100 cases and then present a documented paper with tabulated results, tabulate the remedies used, and give the proof of cure thru pathological and X-ray findings.

For Eg Ovarian Cyst: Remedies used
Sabina for excessive bleeding. Thuj as the main intercurrent remedy, as ovarian cyst falls under Sycotic Miasm, and the other main remedy may be Calc-c, etc

Proof: Give Sonography results before and after. It is a very good exercise in statistics and stands up to the scrutiny of the allopathic world. But for the Homoeopaths it is not enough.

Dr Gupta, we accept your results but we cannot learn, therefore we cannot repeat your results. You will have to modify your paper to show case-analysis and remedy- selection i.e. your actual thinking process: then only can we understand and learn. This will then can a balanced presentation, which can stand up to scrutiny from all: the Homoeopathic and Allopathic Worlds.
