A short booklet but contains a vast treasure of information, it is the outcome of lecture series by the author during a "Teacher's Orientation Training Programme" in DSH Medical college, Pune in may 1997. The book is divided into Essentials of Case Taking, and the utility and the importance of investigations in Homoeopathy. The book shows how in different socio economic states, picture of similarity emerges. Importance of family history, past history while taking account of miasmatic diagnosis is also dwelt upon. Importance of knowing clinical diagnosis and plan of treatment in a given case is also covered well.
