Homoeopathy For Rheumatism

Dr. S.M Gunavante Dorland's Medical Dictionary defines Rheumatism thus: "Any of a variety of disorders marked by inflammation, degeneration or metabolic derangement of the connective tissue structures, especially the joints and related structures, and attended by pain, stiffness or limitation of motion. It also describes a few more conditions of rheumatism. Viz. Acute Articular rheumatism, Inflammatory rheumatism, Rheumatic fever, Muscular rheumatism, Fibrositis, Palindromic rheumatism, Repeated attacks of arthritis or periarthritis without fever and without causing irreversible joint changes.
In clinical practice we find that when a patient comes with complaints of inflammation or stiffness of joints or muscles that cause moderate to severe pain and sometimes-even immobility, he asks what the condition (diagnosis) is, what has caused the trouble and will it be cured? Fortunately, Homoeopathy has a number of remedies in its armamentarium with one or the other of which, selected according to the symptoms of the patient (Physicals, Generals and Peculiars) the patient's health can he restored to normal. He can resume his normal movements without pain or discomfort - and that too in a very short time.
