Homoeo Camp VP12-1-98
The Rotary Club of Jeypore in Collaboration with the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Undivided Koraput Dist. Unit organised one mobile charitable Homoeo Camp on November 16, 1997 at Gadapadar about 6 km away from Jeypore.
Dr. B Venugopal, S S Nain, Asst. Research Officers, C R U (T), C C R H, Govt. of India, M S Chowdhury, Jt. Secretary, KS Das, Organising Secretary and other para-medical staff examined 278 patients. Most of the beneficiaries were Schedule Tribes and Schedule Castes. About 30% of the villagers have been suffering from Malaria and the rest have been suffering from Malnutrition and Anaemia. The villagers were sincerely demanding a regular Homoeo Clinic to serve the sufferers, as there are no alternative Medical facilities in this area. The ost of medicines and the ambulance facility was provided by the Rotary Club of Jeypore. Rotarians Sandeep Zand, President, R P Jain, Muna, Ashis Agarwal and others attended the Camp. The HMAI is seriously considering setting up a regular Dispensary in the greater interest of the sufferers.
[Editor: In future, Dr Das should give some details of treatment eg. Rubric for Malaria with remedy __ as "genus epidemics" and what was the result. This will make the report useful to our readers.]
