If one wants to acquire proficiency in the use of a repertory; the knowledge of its evolution, development and the philosophy behind the construction of each repertory is of utmost importance. Integration of concepts from different repertories may help in repairing the deficiency of only the polychrests appearing prominently. This storehouse of information provides the "A" to "Z" of Repertorial know-how.
This comes from the pen of none other than Dr Jugal Kishore who has authored the well known Card Repertory and includes the function and uses of repertory, its limitation, a list of different repertories, a detailed account of concepts of Boenninghausen's, Jahr's Allen's, Gentry's, Kent's, Lippe's, Clarke's and the Card Repertories.
The art of case taking is given due importance by highlighting its presentation. He also recommends the need for constant upgrading of repertories make it a valuable tool for every serious Homoeopathic practitioner. A must read for all who use the Repertory, as well as those who are non-believers in its use!
