Book Review
NATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY 1997 Jul / Aug VOL 5 NO 4.

Title : Sun: The Celestial Doctor--A Chromapath
Author: Dr D A Jagtap
Publisher: Dr S D Jagtap BHMS,
Jainabi Bldg, Ramdas Wadi, Kalyan 421301
Dist. Thane, Maharashtra Tel No 320001.

I must confess that I have always regarded 'us' as Mainstream, and felt others as not as alternative.

So when Dr Jagtap, the oldest NJH subscriber, asked me to release his book on Chromopathy, I agreed ,partly to make amends and partly to learn. Also,I had heard that late Dr Vishveshwar Kulkarni, of Roy and Co and a veteran Homoepath, had taught him the Chromopathy. This spelt a bond between Homoepathy and chromopathy. What better way to introduce myself to a subject, than to release the book?

So I tottered off to Kalyan and heard Dr Jagtap's introduction, wherein he cited a number of instances of curing Asthma, colds. etc. 5 patients also convincingly attested to his testimony.
Dr Jagtap has ennumerated the uses of various colours and how to be healthy by the proper use of colours. eg A person predisposed to sunstroke war a blue turbun. Also if your job involves a lot of intellectual activity, try to work at night, and under a blue light.

My only comments, at the end of the whole presentation, and which I spelled out to the August gathering, were that if we have to stand up and prove the merits of our science to the King-pins of Modern Medicine,we need to give concrete proof of the efficacy, by way of a proper study, involving Laboratory tests, and x-Rays. IT is no longer enough to say I treated a case of Renal Calculli, and he has no recurrence in the last 1 yr.
Tabulate cases, even 5 (the number os not important ) of Say Asthme, cirrhosis, etc. Demonstrate that the investigations which were abnormal, have now turned normal. Then and then only will we be taken seriously, as a worthwhile treatment.
