There may be very few people in the Homoeopathic world who have not chanced upon the very many informative booklets by Dr P Sankaran and appreciated its worth. Dr Rajan Sankaran deserves all kudos for hitting upon the brilliant idea of presenting his booklets in the form of an easily accessible bounded volume.

For an all round unprejudiced perspective on any topic of Homoeopathy, these volumes can serve to be very handy and I would specially recommend his views on the relationship of remedies; hitherto seldom touched upon topic by many. Quoting from various authors and his own personal experiences with case records regarding any topic under discussion, projects his great thinking prowess, observation skills and his vast knowledge.

Vol II deals with the subject of difficulties in practice, scope of Homoeopathy and Dr Sankaran's collective writings. Any doubts about potency problems, repetition of doses, clinical relationship of remedies, dietetic restrictions, when the indicated remedies fail, dietetic restrictions, when the indicated remedies fail, the importance of aetiology, surgery, pathology, limitations and recent research in Homoeopathy may find its solution here. The section on collected writings make very interesting and informative reading.

Dr Sankaran's command, well versed knowledge on every aspect of Homoeopathy, is only to be read to be really appreciated. Like the saying goes 'The proof of the pudding is in its eating.'
