The complete symptoms which came up in the provings are compiled so far from the Materia Medica like Allens Encyclopedia", M L Tylers "Drug Pictures" and Herings "Guiding Symptoms" pertaining to EARS AND HEARING are given here under in the same manner as have been published pertaining to HAIR AND NAILS Vol IV No (1995) 6 of NJH

EARS:

1. Noises in the ears like boiling water-Cannabis-indica
2. Momentary pain as if the external ears were drawn out of the head-Cannabis-indica
3. A hot vapour frequently issues from either ear alternately-Cantharis
4. Discharge of a thick, flesh colored, offensive moisture from right ear-Carbo veg
5. A sensation as if a cold wind were blowing into the right meatus auditorious-Causticum
6. Sounds echo in the ears and he hears with difficulty-Causticum
7. Several times during the day feels, as if hot water were running out of the right ear-Chamomilla
8. Both ears seems stopped -Chelidonium
9. An unpleasant sensation in both ears, as if a wind were streaming out of them so that he was frequently obliged to put the finger into the ear to relieve the sensation-Chelidonium
10. Ringing like that of bells or roaring in the ears-Chin-sulph

70. Croaking in the left ear, as from frogs, while sitting she thought that every one must hear it, lasting two minutes-Mag-sulph
71. Fluttering, as from a large bird before the left ear, at the same time warmth extending into the ear, as if she were near a hot stove-Manganum
72. Excessive pain goes suddenly from the teeth into the inner ear- Manganum

91. Annoyed by rushing noise in right ear; lasting from ten to fifteen minutes and resembling the escaping steam from an engine, first starting-Natrum-ars

100. Intolerable tearing in the right ear, together with toothache-Niccolum

111. Yellowish bloody discharge from both ears, without odor, thin, more copious from the left than from the right-Petroleum

145. Otalgia of the right ear, with aching pain in the head and drawing in all the teeth-Rananculus-scele

148. Noises and ringing in the ear, on waking, about midnight-Ratanhia
149. Crawling and bubbling in the ears and in the muscles in the side of the neck, perceptible even to the hand-Rheum

230. Bruised pain in ears, stitches in and behind ears, ears very dry-Arnica

233. Over sensitiveness of nerves, scratching of linen or silk is insupportable-Asarum
