Constitutional Similimum for Neophyte

May 96 --- Nagpur

A summer school was conducted by the National Academy of Homoeopathy, India, at Dr J N Kanjilal memorial hall, Nagpur from 26th May to 9th June 1996.

The entire training programme was conducted on the Gurukul pattern. The day started with Omkar and Yoga at 5:30 am. We realized the importance of Yoga in constitutional cure, as it gives exercise to CNS and Endocrinal systems both of which are located at the centre.

Every day, live case demonstration was done. Cases were allotted to disciples. Practical difficulties were solved during case presentation. Homoeopathic management of case and role Eliminations in cure was demonstrated practically.

The method of reading Allens Keynotes and Repertory was taught in a most simple way. How to select the rubric, relation of one rubric with other similar rubrics with fine differences, how to use cross reference and the Language of Repertory was also explained.

Special emphasis was given to Nosodes and Miasmatic diagnosis in constitutional disturbance. What is meant by Miasmatic Evolution was demonstrated practically.

At the end of the training an examination was conducted and errors by participants were corrected with suggestions. We could thus understand the Calcutta school of thought in Homoeopathy.
