Nature Cure Of Hypertension.

Hypertension is a silent killer of human beings. It is not a disease in itself but it is one of the indicators alarming a person to take care of probable emergency.

In India more than 40 percent white collar workers have this indicator. A curse of modern society?.

Naturopathy, as one knows, is a holistic approach to any body's ailment and its treatment. Hence people could get good relief within a period of three to six months of continuous efforts.

CASE:

A landlady of 48 years came to my hospital with the following complaints. When she gets up early morning she has severe migraine. She always has negative thinking. Her face was red and swollen for the last five months. Her face was red and swollen for the last five months. Whenever she sits alone at home she gets humming sound through her ears. Whenever anybody asked her something she never answered with everybody. After the quarrel she weeps for few minutes. She had insomnia and most of the times she used to swallow pills for that.

After listening to her complaints, I asked her about her personal life which she was little hesitant to disclose. When I mentioned to her that without further details I may not be able to make her well she then came out of her shell and narrated as follows.

She was a daughter of a rich man and never and problems of money. Even after her marriage she had enough money to life leisurely. But she was not happy. To her ill-luck she had no children. Her husband was a businessman and used to have lot of social contacts. He used to enjoy his life as it came to him. But this lady was nor responsive and tried to remain in shell only. Because of this attitude she developed the above symptoms. After listening to her I had examined her and took her blood pressure which was 150/110 mm of Hg. She was hypertensives and had no other indication except little obesity.

TREATMENT:

For the first week her diet and was altered. She was given a lime juice in lukewarm water with tea spoonful of honey. For breakfast she was given only one glassful of cucumber juice. For lunch she was given boiled mixed cucumber juice. For lunch she was given boiled mixed vegetables and 100 gms of fresh curd. Along with this diet she was given dal rice only for first three days at the dinner time. From fourth day onwards she was kept on half day fast on the evening with only 100 gms of vegetable soup to drink. She was advised to undertake Vajrasana after dinner daily. She was also advised to perform Shavasana daily five minutes morning and evening. After the end of first week her weight had come down by three kilos and blood pressure was around 140/100 mm of Hg. In the following two weeks she was kept on raw diet mainly consisting of carrot juice and other raw vegetables. She was given warm water enema on alternate days. She was also given cold eye pack and body pack daily. After the end of 3rd week her blood pressure stabilized at 130/90 mm of Hg and weight was further reduced by 4 kg. At the end of fourth weeks the lady was given bland diet for one more week and her blood pressure then stabilized at 125/85 till she visited again after 4 months.
