On 6th June 1994, I was approached by a young lady of 26 for the treatment of her foul smelling leucorrhoea which was worse after coition and micturition. She also had burning micturition. She also had burning micturition and eruptions around the public region despite good personal hygiene. Her menstrual cycles were irregular and delayed.
Giving her personal history she said (in the patients own words) "I have a simple nature. I like natural things; reading books and music. I am emotional and sensitive. I like day - dreaming. I carry myself to Kashmir in my thoughts. I am choosy about food, ice-creams (++) sour (3) and sweets (3). I get angry and take offence easily. I have no patience and get bored easily. I have no patience and get bored easily. I cannot contain my emotions, they get expressed immediately on my face. I get angry when my husband ignores me, does not give attention to me first on entering home. I feel he does not care for me; does not love me. Similarly, if my parents would ignore me I would cry. I would stop immediately on being consoled and given attention".
"I cannot see peoples sufferings especially the old. I cannot see any body cry. When I speak out, which could hurt others. Later I realize it and I feel guilty. I may know I am wrong but I wont admit..probably; it is my ego. I never reconcile. I expect him of her to reconcile with me even though I am wrong. I am sensitive to criticism about my looks".
"But I want to be left alone, when I am sick, I dont feel thirsty at all. I like nature, hill stations. I dreams of beautiful gardens, sitting all alone at the river side and feeling happy. Since 2 years I dream constantly that I am well dressed, all alone travelling in a plane and landing on a hill station where it is all green, with mountains around. There are many small animals, peacocks, rabbits, lambs; many coloured birds and flowers all over the place".
She "looked" like a haughty, beautiful, rude and well dressed Platina who would weep with anger. But she also reminded me of a sensitive, tearful, childish Pulsatilla who is better when consoled. But, she lacked the contemptuousness, haughtiness of the PRIM Platina and the contradictory symptom of a desire to be left alone when sick, unlike Pulsatilla. During the interview, she transmitted positive and pleasant vibrations across. She was dressed properly and not pompously. She was wearing just enough jewellery to suit her dress. I knew I had not reached the similimum and hence inquired further.
She said she liked flowers especially the Red Rose. She dreamt of rose gardens and lying amongst roses daily and enjoys eating gulkand.
I could now understand the rudeness, sensitiveness, the childishness of the beautiful but the proud and pleasant person sitting in front of me. I was convinced that her aura was in sympathy with that of the Red Rose and not Pulsatilla or Platina. The drug was prepared from fresh Red Rose petals and given to her in the 30th potency in a single dose.
First Follow-up-after 13 days - Her leucorrhoea had disappeared and so had the eruptions around the public region. Mentally she was the same.
Second Follow-up - in end of August 94.
She left her husbands house over a fight. Probably an ego hassle. One dose of the 30th potency was repeated which made her emotionally very stable. After a month she reconciled and went back to her husband.
Third Follow-up-1st week of February 1995.
She us happy and enjoying her first trimester. She continues to have minor fights but makes up easily. Her tearfulness has reduced. She is yet the pleasant childish individual.
Note: In August 94, a proving was conducted in the 30th potency with the co-operation of 8 provers which confirmed the validity of the first prescription. The making of the remedy from the Red Rose and its curative effects strengthened the idea which I held that - We all have in us the elemental essence of all matter making up the solar system (the plants, the animals, the planets, minerals, metals etc), the preponderance of which decides that substance as a remedy for us in diseased states.
