LETTERS
I humbly thank for the hundreds of letters and condolence messages received from all of you - some are printed her some in next issue.
She was inspiring, humble as a vice principal and very expressive in her teaching of materia medica. Some of her examples are still in front of my eyes and are helpful to prescribe medicines to my patients. She was really a teacher of living Materia Medica.

A true mother to the NJH group and it was a rare occasion that she did not attend the Homoeopathic seminars and conferences. Though we cannot see her again among us, her soul will be around the NJH family since.

Kindly refer to NJH Vol III No.3. a column regarding Bowel Nosodes and also Queries and Solutions Ans 2 (c)
Kindly clarify - Either 2C is equal to 2nd Centesimal Potency or the 200th Centesimal potency.
In the homoeopathic field we have more than 2000 medicines which have been fully or partially proved. We prescribe many of these medicines with failure or success as per clinical trials. Dr. Kasim Chimthanawala ethically raises the question that Bowel Nosodes are not Homoeopathic. I agree with him fully. but the question is which medicines are purely homoeopathic and what their total numbers? Kindly publish a list of medicines which are homoeopathic.

All of us have lost a great Homoeopath, a wonderful writer and prescriber. Her very presence in conferences led to bright discussions. I was glad to be one who admired her and with whom she had a very warm affection.

She was a highly dedicated homoeopath with a sense of social commitment. She was also a good writer and her articles in the Mumbai Samachar were indeed very informative.

She was a mother to me and her death has made me orphan. She had a quality of good doctor, teacher and as artist with ever smiling face in white sari. She was a replica of Florence Nightingale. I have learnt a lot from her beside Homoeopathy. Her loss is irreparable.

If a woman finds out that she is one of those for whom the menopause comes and goes with little discomfort, she will be wise to heed the doctors advice: Learn to laugh at the wifes tales about cancer, insanity and the other ills supposed to come with change of life. If you have a career - keep it. If you havent, multiply you activities and keep your mind off yourself. Dont dramatize your ailments or behave like an invalid. Most women who claim that their husband lost interest because of menopause have largely themselves to blame.

OBITUARY
Homoeopathy has became extremely poor when one of its veterans Dr. K. Prahlad passed away on 21st January 1995. For more than 60 years he served humanity with Homoeopathy and was instrument in popularizing Homoeopathy become par with any other systems of medicine.
Dr. Prahlad Khurana from Multan, graduated as an allopath by passing LCPS and went on to become an ophthalmic surgeon by taking the DOMS degree. It was by chance that he got interested in homoeopathy and once he started the practice there was no looking back.
He mastered the art of healing and achieved cures which were no less than miracles. Always open minded, smiling and a tongue sweeter than sugar, he was able to induce so much impression on the patients that they would be half cured, even before taking any medicine.
He held many prestigious positions. He was a Director of the Punjab Kesri Club, which has built a Modern Homoeopathic Hospital. He was the president of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Bombay Unit for the past 19 years.
He used to work more than 12 hours a day till he feel sick last year.
May his soul rest in peace.
