A woman in her late middle age, often loses her temper, becomes anxious and restless, has sudden bouts of sweating and promptly, everyone from the husband to the neighbor blames it on Menopause. the onset of other diseases like cataract, failing eyesight, hypertension, diabetes are common. the associated hormonal imbalance due to cessation of ovulation may cause night sweats, hot flushes and irritability. Being a visible transition, when the menstrual period stops, it leads to a lot of drama and menopause becomes a scapegoat.
