Ye, brides of the world! On honeymoon to Hawaii or Honolulu
Trust prudence of the pills- of Staphysagria- to quell
Crisis of kidney- dysuria with a drop rolling back and forthRender conjugal bed- sweet and
blissful- sans "honeymoon" pyelitis
Be it a newly-wed wife, lying-in mother, kid that kicks and howls
Youth wayward with stricture gonorrhoeal, or prostate senile
Staphysagria simulates cauldron with contents seething within
Rage smoulders with humiliation undeserved, or love unrequited
Too noble to seek revenge- tooth for tooth, eye for eye
Remedy belongs to the elite- too proud to parade indignity
Stunned into silence, eyes wide awake, thoughts vanish, memory betrays Steeped in ignonimy
of disgrace, they know no rest, no respite
If soul be so lacerated, can body ever bloom as in spring?
Incised wounds, flesh mortified, trauma of tooth and nail
Post-surgical neuralgias, colic and spasms, headache or heartache
Joints stiffen, teeth turn back with chagrin, skin itches with shame
Eyes skirted with tell-tale styes, urine stops or dribble
Staphysagria suffers surrogately- from soul to sole
At variance with body, mind dwells long on pleasures of flesh Onanism, nymphomania,
excesses of venery- wild and gay
Until impotence overtakes, testicles atrophy, syphilis- a scourge
Eyes sunken, vision, dim, look abashed, face lacks luster
Hair fall, lice crawl, "ball" sits firmly on forehead
Staphysagria writes there its destiny- of Id and Ego- in pitiable Plight.
