A reader informed us that a homoeopathic doctor in Surat, had put up the photographs published in our Leucoderma issue, in his clinic. So far so good. A message that Homoeopathy can help patients with Leucoderma would have been enough. But he went a step further and stated that he had cured those cases! The investigations done by the NJH team proved that the doctor did make that assertion.
Of course every man reaps what he sows, Vipassana says. So we will not take any action, but we feel sad that a doctor had to take recourse to lies. His purpose would have been fully served by the photos. I often show to my patients, cases published in our Journal, to prove how Homoeopathy helps. I do not say that I cured them. They come to me because I am their Homoeopath.
Even when a homoeopaths article appears in the press, then, not only the author but all Homoeopaths get patients. Doctors, must be honest and trustworthy. The medical profession is a noble calling, and therefore rules of business do not apply. Advertising is absolutely banned.
I wish to pen down my views on the editorial remarks you have made regarding the Bowel Nosodes in the issue on Schizophrenia. I would like to clarify a vital point that the query as well as the reply, was totally based on the fundamentals of Homoeopathy and not otherwise. I have never denied the fact that some drugs belonging to Bowel Nosode group do have discreet relationship with Homoeopathic drugs, but that is not the genius of the query.
The query is Whether Bowel Nosodes are Homoeopathic? The reply is a straight NO, due to the following reasons-
- Homoeopathy means only that what was discovered by Master Hahnemann and is based on the fundamentals as mentioned in the Organon of Medicine.
- Bowel Nosodes were not discovered by the Master. They have their own theories and procedures of application.
- They were not proved on healthy human beings.
- Their selection is not based on Similia Similibus Curantur.
- The cure is not assessed on the basis of Herings laws.
Please note that, simply because there is abundant clinical data which can testify some definite relations of Bowel Nosodes with a group of Homoeopathic drugs and also because they have been potentised, they do not become homoeopathic. This is what I believe and teach, hence the reply to the query.

I have been a member of the NJH family right from the beginning of its inception. Even though each issue of the NJH focusses on a special topic, I sometimes feel that some issues lacks depth in their content.
Editor: Please expand, so we can improve.
The warts issue was highly interesting. Especially the case where a patient (Mr. CU) has first visited a Homoeopath for Chronic Dysentery and was prescribed with Nux-vom and Sulphur resulting in exteriorisation of the disease viz warts which was subsequently cured (?) with Tuberculinum (See Case 7, Page 112).
The same patient who happens to be a Film Distributor, after a gap of 4 years visits another Homoeopath who also resides in the same place viz Colaba, she (Dr. Farida) also prescribed Sulphur and Nux-vom; Sulphur in increasing doses and once again cures (?) the warts See (Page 122)
A careful reading of both the cases would confirm the above said facts.
One is reminded of the famous washerwomans case of Samuel Hahnemann. Dr. Wadia had reported the case, which according to him was cured, in the belief that the warts have not reappeared. But it was not so.
Dr. Kulbir Singh and Dr. Parag Sheths cases were educative.

Each copy of your journal is so beautiful in contents, get-up and presentation that it gets easily pinched away. It impresses everyone who sees and glances at it. Do not bring such nice issues as it is easily taken away by others leaving us without a copy!
