The 23rd All India Nature Cure Conference was held in the beautiful Swargashram in the picturesque holy city of Rishikesh in Uttar Pradesh between 15th and 17th April 1994. It was inaugurated by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Honble Motilalji Vora and atttended by various dignitaries like Shri Rajesh Pilot, Girdhar Gomango, Kum Nirmala Deshpande and Swami Chidanand Saraswati.

The climate at Rishikesh was so Switzerland. 2000 delegates from India, UK, USA. Switzerland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka and Denmark attended.Dr. P.K. Bolar, the Vice president, was felicitated for his 40 years of service in the field of naturopathy and particularly Naturopathic Ophthalmology.

The main topics discussed were-

1. Development of Naturopathy and International Coordination.
2. Allergic Diseases and its management with Naturopathy anti Yoga.
3. Chronic Diseases.

The Conference elected Swami Chidanand Saraswati as the president of the All India Nature Cure Federation and Dr. B.T.C. Murthy as the General Secretary.

The following two main resolutions passed in the conference-

1. To give Registration to all practising Naturopaths in India.
2. To appoint a Deputy Director for Naturopathy in the Central Government as well as all the States of India for the rapid development of this system.
