It is a well established fact that the selection of a medicine depends on
mental and general symptoms. A particular symptom has a minor role to guide the
prescriber. However, at times, it is that particular symptom that is more distressing to
the patient and if it can be treated, the patient feels comfortable.
On 5th of June 1993, a patient came with hiccoughs which had
started since morning. He also had a fever from cold.
