This is a frequently missed, but important remedy for acute cold and coryza, Sore throat, Sneezing headache, cough with expectoration. This drug is prepared from soap bark.
No other remedy gives such a good result as Quillaya are given to a person the following symptoms are noted in variable intensity.
Mind: Very sleepy, cannot keep awake.
Drunken feeling.
Real things seems imaginary, cannot believe what he sees.
Thinks everything is a dream.
No affection for friends and family members.
Head: Pain in supra orbital region.
Pain in left side goes to right.
Pain and heaviness in the nape of neck.
Nose: There is stopped up feeling in the nose. The
discharges are suppressed and get lodged in the nose.
Much sneezing, no satisfaction after sneezing.
Ears: Sensation as if left ear is plugged.
Sensation as if hearing is impaired temporarily.
Eyes: Cannot believe what he sees. Unable to read the
letter, cannot concentrate eyes on reading.
Letters seem to be moving on paper.
Stomach: Stomach feels full. Desire for warm drinks.
Pain in ear while swallowing.
Extremities: Weakness in limbs.
No desire to move.
Pain in limbs.
Sleep: Very sleepy as if drunken.
Real things seem as if in a dream.
Modalities: Worse: while reading, at night, cold drinks.
Better: sleep, rest, warm drinks.
