Case 1
A boy of 12, who takes only homoeopathic medicines suddenly developed
large blister like eruptions on abdomen, arms and on back of thighs : some large, mostly
circular, as if filled with water (? Pemphigus) with itching and burning. When I saw him
on the third day after the first eruption, his upper arm, abdomen, thighs were covered in
an alarming way.
3-7-93 Given Caltha 30 4 times a day
4-7-93 Slightly better. Caltha 30 TDS
5-7-93 Much better.
Eruption regressed, the last to appear, disappeared first.
6-7-93 White spots remaining at the place of eruptions.
Conclusion - In such acute situations the right medicine does the job with the same
acuteness.
Case 2
A young lady of 35 years, with dark complexion, mottled pock marked face,
came to see me on 21st Jan 92, with pain in abdomen. She was very expressive
and one could easily see her anxiety in her gestures. (Her family consists of many
medicos, but she did not get relief.)
The patient would normally wear a loose gown at home and absolutely loose
clothes always. She would just not talk of any other problems, but went on & on with
her chief complaint.
Past H/O - Appendicectomy, Hysterectomy 1990.

Personal + Physical Generals.
- Appetite - Normal but cannot eat
- Cravings - Rice +++
- Aversion - Sweets ++
- Thirst - N
- Sweat - NP
- Urine - N
- Leucorrhoea H/O thick white; now agg - 1 mth and watery.
- Menses - H/O profuse clots ++ - pain abdomen. black3 staining3
- Sleep - Sleepless, Uncomfortable, thinking ++
- Dreams - NP
- Chilly patient, thick covering at night, fan agg, wants socks at night.
The patient was non co-operative as far as other areas were concerned. She
spoke mainly of her stomach. She had a bloated feeling, full of gas with lots of
flatulence. Could not eat. She had lots of anxiety if children were late or sick (anxiety of
health). Anxiety for others, Highly social, would go to help others in shopping, marriage,
etc., (Sociability) Speaking of herself. Feels husband is more handsome - how did he
select her (jealousy). Contradiction <, desire to leave home. averse to her beloved
ones due to her complaints.
On 21st Jan 92, I gave her a single dose of Sulph 200 with Placebo. (The case being not very clear, Sulph was administered as the opening remedy to make things more
clear.)
Stomach problem had been there since a few days but she was concerned of
the throat problem.
On direct questioning she told me of her dreams of snakes.
Patient also said that whenever she took my treatment she would land up
with throat problems. On further inquiry, she had a P/H/O recurrent throat infection.
